STERLING, VA - Virginia Sate Senator Barbara Favola has endorsed Juli Briskman, a former marketing executive and local activist, in her campaign for the Algonkian District seat on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors.

“I'm proud to endorse Juli Briskman for Supervisor. I know Juli will be a strong advocate for the things that matter most to our quality of life. Her commitment to progressive values and compassionate pragmatism will serve the citizens of the Algonkin District well.”

“Senator Favola has been an inspiring leader during her years as my representative in Richmond, and I’m excited to have her support in order that we can work together in the coming years on issues facing Algonkian residents,” said Briskman. “We know that change starts on the local level, and I’m happy that Senator Favola will continue to be a partner for good policies in both state and local government.”

Briskman is the Democratic nominee for Supervisor in the Algonkian District and will face off against eight-year incumbent Republican Suzanne Volpe in the general election on November 5th. Senator Favola represents the 31st District in the Senate of Virginia, which contains half of Loudoun’s Algonkian District.
