STERLING, VA - The Chair of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors Phyllis J. Randall has endorsed Juli Briskman, a former marketing executive and local activist, in her campaign for the Algonkian District seat on the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors.

"I'm thrilled to endorse Juli for Algonkian District Supervisor.  Because of her extensive involvement in the community, she is the perfect person to represent Algonkian on our Board of Supervisors,” Randall said of Briskman. “Her dedication to this community through her decades of service will allow her to represent all voices and make her an excellent Supervisor. I’m looking forward to having her as a colleague in the new term.”

Randall stressed that she and her colleagues have accomplished much since her election in 2015, but she is also ready for some new leadership at the Board level.  "I am going to need partners to work on my priorities for the coming term and Juli will be an advocate and partner in achieving more progress on key issues for Loudoun’s working families and children."

“Having the support of Chair Randall means the world to me,” said Briskman. “She has been a phenomenal leader for Loudoun County and I know her leadership will continue after her reelection.  I can’t wait to join her on the board and continue the progress she initiated and has accomplished in the past four years.”

Briskman is the Democratic nominee for Supervisor in the Algonkian District and will face off against eight-year incumbent Republican Suzanne Volpe in the general election on November 5th.  Chair Randall will be running for reelection to as Chair-at-Large in that same election.
